Due in February 2006, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max for the PSP will be an enhanced port of the arcade original, complete with additional content we have already seen in console ports, plus some all new stuff. For starters the game will feature the same character roster from the Game Boy Advance version, which means Yun, Maki and Eagle from Capcom vs. SNK 2 make their way into the game. The PSP version also gets Ingrid from Capcom Fighting Evolution.

The game will feature a new variable battle mode, allowing for tag-team fights where the fighter can be swapped in the middle of a match. The single-player survival, dramatic battle, and final battle modes are all present and the PSP will also allow for wireless multiplayer action. This mode will include the usual one-on-one and team battle modes, as well as two-on-one dramatic battle matches and the all new tag-out variable battle mode.

There is currently no confirmed European release date.
