There has been an assortment of great free games offered and available to grab on the Steam Deck during April. These include five very positive freebies such as Gloomhaven and Last Spell, and now Steam Deck users are able to claim five more free games as part of the final offerings for April 2025.

How to get final Steam Deck free games for April 2025

The final four free games available from Amazon Prime Gaming for April 2025 are now available to grab. Below are the games along with their Steam Deck status and reviews consensus on Steam:

  • Thief Gold – very positive (Gold rating on ProtonDB) [GOG code]
  • Troublemaker – very positive (Playable) [Epic Games store]
  • Kraken Academy – very positive (Verified) [Amazon Games App]
  • Priest Simulator Vampire Show – overwhelmingly positive (Playable according to ProtonDB submissions) [Epic Games store]

In order to get the above freebies from Amazon Prime Gaming, you will need to be a Prime subscriber which costs £8.99 per month and also includes day-one free delivery as well as access to Prime TV.

Assuming you have a Prime subscription, you will need the free Heroic Games Launcher which supports GOG, Epic Games store, and Amazon Games. Unfortunately, only Kraken Academy is verified, so there might be some performance hiccups with the other games, although they are deemed playable.

Alongside the aforementioned final offering of Prime Gaming giveaways for April, there is also the following freebies from the Epic Games store available until May 1st:

  • Chuchel – very positive (Verified) [Epic Games store]
  • Alibion Online free welcome gift – mostly positive (Playable) [Epic Games store]

You do not need any subscription to get freebies directly on offer from Epic Games. Although it a free welcome gift, Albion Online is already a free-to-play experience.

These are all of the final free game offerings from Amazon Prime Gaming and the Epic Games store for April 2025. Hopefully the offerings for May will be even better when they are revealed and come out.

In other SD news, an upcoming Sonic game is verified with pre-register rewards still available to grab.
