State of Decay developer Undead Labs will announce a new game on Monday – and it won’t be a zombie game.
On the developer’s Twitter account, the studio teased next week’s reveal.
Having said all I can about SoD’s bright future, should I mention we’re announcing a game on Monday that has nothing to do with SoD? Hmm.

The studio also goes on to confirm that it will not be a zombie game:
It is not a zombie game. Like… not at all a zombie game. More than that, I cannot say.

A subsequent Tweet teases that the game will not involve Microsoft, before clarifying that Microsoft will simply not be publishing the game:
No zombies, no Microsoft. AND NO MORE HINTS.

“no Microsoft” in that tweet earlier = MS not publishing new game. Still VERY happily partnered w/ them for State of Decay games.

With Microsoft not publishing Undead Labs’ new game, it’s possible that it could come to Sony’s consoles. Whatever the case, we don’t have long to wait to find out what the new game may be.
