Space station management sim Spacebase Startopia will arrive on the Nintendo Switch next month, publisher Kalypso Media has announced.

The game originally launched for PC, Xbox and PlayStation earlier this year. It tasks you with taking care of a whole host of aliens and their needs aboard a doughnut-shaped space station. Tending to their needs across three types of deck – Sub Deck, Bio Deck and Fun Deck players will be busy providing facilities and fun for all aboard.  You’ll also have to deal with rival AI competitors, sabotaging their space stations to make yours look more appealing.

All ten missions of the game’s single player campaign have made it across intact, as well as the game’s sandbox mode. All the while you’ll be ably assisted by sardonic AI companion VAL who’ll provide advice and commentary as you go.

If you missed it the first time, the game is a spiritual sequel to 2001 Mucky Foot PC exclusive Startopia. The team at Mucky Foot were made up of former Bullfrog Productions staffers, and were also responsible 1999’s Urban Chaos.
