In case you’d not heard, today – May 4 – is Star Wars Day and to mark the occasion Disney is offering Star Wars Jedi Survivor fans the chance to buy an actual replica lightsaber from the action adventure game.

The limited edition Cal Kestis Lightsaber Hilt Set has gone on sale today – first appearing on the UK Shop Disney online store, and expected to go on sale on the US one a little later. However, interested parties will have to be quick to snap it up, as it’ll be a very limited run with only 7,500 being made available. It won’t be cheap either, with the UK version poised to set you back a whopping £360 of cold hard cash (sorry, Credits aren’t accepted here) for the privilege.

According to the lightsaber’s listing – the design of the hilt is actually made up of two individual hilts that can be joined in the middle with a ‘connector’ piece, allowing you to split apart the lightsabers, just like Cal’s does in the game – and wield them either as a double-bladed saber or as two individual dual blades. Each hilt also includes a colour changing feature, allowing you press a button to switch your blade’s to one of six colours – blue, green, purple, yellow or white.

Of course, this is one for serious fans only, as not only does it carry that eye-watering £360 price tag, but the lightsaber blades themselves are sold separately. Still, it includes a bunch of nice additional touches including a special wooden case with a Jedi Order symbol on the front and text reading “Trust Only in the Force” embossed on it. It also comes with a certificate of authenticity of course, for bragging rights.

Still, it’s a very cool piece of merch for an excellent game. If you don’t have the credits to splash out on such an extravagant purchase, you may have to make do with the game like the rest of us. We can at least help you make the most of your saber in-game with our Star Wars Jedi Survivor lightsaber colors and customisation guide and How to throw your lightsaber in Star Wars Jedi Survivor.
