Trademarks and domain names for a project titled Star Wars: First Assault have been spotted by Fusible, suggesting a new game is on the way from LucasArts.
The primary trademark listing relates to “interactive entertainment software” for computers and mobile phones. Merchandising also appears to be on the agenda, with pencil sharpeners, yo-yos and sticker books all mentioned.
Visually impressive action title Star Wars: 1313 was outed in a similar fashion prior to E3.
First Assault could be the rumoured in-development Battlefront title at Spark Unlimited, but “first assault” doesn’t really lend itself to any particular genre. Your guess is as good as ours.
