Electronic Arts has lifted the wraps off the full patch notes for Star Wars Battlefront II update 1.2, confirming a landslide of balance changes for various characters, game modes, and classes, plus the previously confirmed Jetpack Cargo mode.

Main highlights include new locations for Custom Arcade, with Kashyyyk, Hoth, Endor, Crait, Jakku, and Death Star II joining the lineup. In addition, there’s limited-time appearances for Luke, Leia, and Han on Hoth, which are unlockable by completing various in-game challenges.

Elsewhere, Troopers will benefit from two emotes as default without having to unlock them before hand, and the AI has been beefed up for Arcade mode to ‘make the experience more engaging.’

In terms of character balances, Boba Fett’s jetpack now packs increased maneuverability, Rey’s Insight ability has had its ranged reduced, Luke is now able to sprint much faster, and Yoda’s lightsaber damage has been significantly buffed. There’s a heap more to digest for update 1.2, so be sure to read the full patch notes for the lowdown.

Star Wars Battlefront II will have its progression system tinkered with later this year, with more details dropping next month. In addition, EA confirmed that the game’s controversial microtransactions will be returning at some point.Â
