The developer behind Star Wars Battlefront II has confirmed that update 1.2 is now in testing, and while a release date has yet to be confirmed, we’ve at least got an idea of what to expect from the patch when it rolls off production lines.

Aside from the usual dose of bug swatting, the latest update for the troubled sci-fi sequel introduces the time-limited Jetpack Cargo mode, as well as balancing for a wealth of characters such as Boba Fett, Emperor Palpatine, Iden, Rey, Bossk, Kylo Ren, Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, Yoda, Lando, Darth Vader, and Captain Phasma.

We’re also promised AI updates and more for the Arcade mode, plus tweaks to Classes, Reinforcements, and Core Combat. Check out the list (although keep in mind this isn’t the full patch notes) on the official Battlefront II forums.

Electronic Arts recently confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront II’s microtransactions will be returning to the fold later this year. In addition, DICE will also be tweaking the game’s progression system at some point, with more details coming next month.

Alice wasn’t too impressed with Battlefront II when it first came out, for reasons that probably won’t come as much of a surprise.
