Sony’s cobbled together a list of the best-selling games on PlayStation Network for December 2017, revealing troubled sci-fi shooter Star Wars Battlefront II topped the list despite getting off to a dodgy start thanks to the much-publicised loot box controversy.

The chart takes into account the hottest games sold over PSN throughout Europe last month, with DICE’s star-studded sequel fending off some stiff competition from the ubiquitous Call of Duty: WW2 and FIFA 18.

Despite it being a packed list, newcomers Gang Beasts and Knowledge Is Power both managed to make splash in the Top 20 at number six and 16, respectively. Notable re-entries include The Last of Us Remastered, Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, and Wolfenstein: The New Order.

Meanwhile, Superhot and Job Simulator nabbed the top two positions on the PSVR chart, while Fortnite: Standard Founder’s Pack and Destiny 2’s Curse of Osiris expansion topped the DLC lineup for the month.
