DICE has announced details on Star Wars Battlefront II’s forthcoming Night of Endor update, which will be available to download from April 18 on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.

The main highlight here is the time-limited Ewok Hunt mode, which either sees you playing as the loathsome adorable little fur balls or fending them off as a group of Stormtroopers. As the Ewoks, you’ll need to use primitive weapons and other abilities to eliminate the Empire’s onslaught; each Stormtrooper defeated spawns a new Ewok, and your goal is to survive until all enemies have been dispatched.

On the flip side, those of you playing as the Stormtroopers will have access to far more advanced weaponry, and must survive the night against the Ewok advance until your extraction ship arrives on the scene.

Elsewhere, Crystals will also be making an appearance in Star Wars Battlefront II as part of the update, allowing you to unlock Appearances including Endor Leia and Endor Han. It’s here that microtransactions will return to the fold, as Crystals are the only item you can buy with real-life cash. Fortunately, you can still unlock new cosmetic items using in-game credits without spending a penny if you so desire.

Star Was Battlefront II received a major update last month that completely overhauled its progression system for the better.Â
