Star Wars Battlefront is getting a Closed Alpha test on PC, EA has announced.

Only a “small number of users” will be invited to give it a go, though. You can see if you’ve been selected by logging into Origin on the Star Wars Battlefront website and applying for the Alpha.

“Available for Origin on PC only, the purpose of the Star Wars Battlefront Closed Alpha is to perform a number of technical tests that will help the team at DICE as they continue the development of the game,” EA says.

Further details on the Alpha’s content and launch date have yet to be confirmed.

If you didn’t get in, though, don’t panic: EA suggests that there may be more opportunities to play the game before launch, telling fans to “subscribe to our newsletter or follow our social channels to find out how you might be able to play Star Wars Battlefront before its November 17th release in North America.”

Xbox One users will also be able to try the game roughly one week ahead of release by subscribing to EA Access.

Star Wars Battlefront launches in the UK on November 20.
