Star Wars Battlefront 2 is currently in the midst of a season of downloadable content based on the release of The Last Jedi, which included a continuation of the game’s single player story mode entitled Resurrection. Now, a recent tweet makes it look like we might be seeing more offline based content in the future.
Responding to a fan on Twitter, developer Criterion Games remarked that it has recently changed its plans for future DLC due to demand they’d been hearing for more offline content. There’s no word what form this content will take at this time, but it certainly seems an interesting move for what has historically been pitched as a very multiplayer focused game.
We’ve already adjusted some of our plans for future DLC at Criterion because of the demand we’ve been hearing for more offline content since the game shipped. We’re working on what that content might be, but we’re certainly not deaf to what players are asking for more of. https://t.co/Ugib1hCvN3
