Square Enix has confirmed plans to produce additional units of the previously sold out Final Fantasy 15 Ultimate Collector’s Edition.
The first run of the £189.99 set – limited to only 30,000 units worldwide – rapidly sold out, but it came to light that eBay touts had managed to secure multiple units to sell at huge profits.
“Good news! We will be producing more #FFXV Ultimate Collector’s Editions which will be available worldwide!,” Square Enix tweeted.
“Due to factors outside of our control though – there is a chance these new UCEs may not be ready by Sep 30 (the #FFXV release date). “We’ll do our best to make sure the new UCEs are not delayed though & we’ll let you know how you can order one from the 2nd batch soon.”
Final Fantasy 15 launches on PS4 and Xbox One on September 30.
