The new event comes just after Saber Interactive promised to listen more to fans for future updates. With the promise of new Public Test Servers for patches that alter difficulty after launch, Saber is listening to the fanbase.

“I forgot that once the game comes out, it’s no longer a dev’s game. It’s yours first and foremost,” Space Marine 2 creative director Dmitriy Grigorenko said in a blog post.

More content is on the way

While the October Community Event is only a small boost for fans after the arrival of the game’s hotly anticipated difficulty patch, it is the perfect time to celebrate. Of course, more content for Space Marine 2 is also in development for all players with new Chaos and Tyranid foes being added to the game in future updates.
