Ubisoft has announced that its RPG South Park: The Fractured But Whole has gone gold ahead of its October 17 release date. To celebrate the official end to the game’s development, Ubisoft has released a new trailer for the game, introducing us to Seaman and a fish that looks to be referencing the whole ‘Kanye West is a gay fish’ thing from 2009.

The fish asks the protagonist and Seaman for help to get his ‘mama’ to heaven. What follows is an amusing, if a little harsh, parody of the game Only One (that still hasn’t been released), that Kanye West had made in memory of his deceased mother.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole will finally be released following a number of development issues, which had caused lengthy delays. Alice spent some time with the game, and came away generally positive about her experience, particularly the game’s combat, saying that, ‘The Fractured But Whole seems to have come through the delays, troubled or not, looking in good shape.’

The Fractured but Whole continues the story right after the events of South Park: The Stick of Truth. The kids have begun a new adventure in South Park, this time playing the part of superheroes. Players once again control The New Kid, and now have the option of choosing the gender of the protagonist, and even the skin colour.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is out on PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 17.
