If you like your beat-em-ups with big extravagant weapons that may or may not be alive you’re in luck, as the latest iteration in the long running series Soul Calibur VI was announced last night at the Game Awards 2017.
Revealing the news with a trailer, it confirms that series stalwarts Mitsurgui and Sophita are to return, and Motohiro Okubo who previously worked on Tekken 7 with producer Katsuhiro Harada will be heading up production duties on the game.
It’s currently pencilled in for a 2018 release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam. Here’s the trailer:
