Team Ico’s ten-years-in-the-making puzzle platformer, The Last Guardian, has had its price cut from $60 to $40 in the US.
Speaking with a Sony rep, GameSpot confirmed that this price drop is a permanent one.
While pre-orders were higher than expected, the spirtual successor to Shadow of the Collosus only charted at number seven in its first week, leading many to believe that the game’s hype hadn’t translated into sales, after all.
