As always, the initial early access period is slated to take place months before the Smite 2 release date, so you’ll have to remain patient indefinitely for the upcoming MOBA’s official launch. When is the Smite 2 Alpha Test start date?
Smite 2 Alpha weekend starts on Thursday 2nd May at 8 PM ET and ends on Saturday 4th May at 10 PM ET. The Smite 2 Alpha test will run from Thursday, May 2 to Sunday, May 5. During this time, you will be able to play through a section of the game and control various gods.

What is playable in the Smite 2 alpha?
There isn’t a lot of information as to what will be available in the Smite 2 alpha testing. There is a stream scheduled for May 1, where Titan Forge Games will give us a rundown of all the playable gods in the closed alpha test and additional information about the testing phase. What we can expect, though, is some classic third-person action MOBA from a studio that knows what it’s doing. In a recent trailer, we’ve seen a glimpse of what the gameplay looks like.
What platforms will the Smite 2 alpha test be on?
The Smite 2 closed alpha weekend test is available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5. The Smite 2 closed alpha period and the full release of Smite 2 will not be available on Nintendo Switch. If you’ve signed up for the Smite 2 alpha, through the founder’s edition or otherwise, you will be sent an email to your inbox if picked for the closed alpha weekend test period.
