The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on PlayStation 3 will soon receive DLC, according to a Tweet by publisher Bethesda.

“To update: we’re also close on new Skyrim content for PS3 and PC,” read the tweet, which is probably music to the ears of long-suffering PlayStation 3 Skyrim players.

So far Skyrim on Sony’s console hasn’t received any of the downloadable content that Xbox 360 owners have enjoyed, and back in August the situation looked bleak – Bethesda wasn’t even sure it could solve the problems it faced trying to bring DLC to the console.

Presumably the DLC coming to PC is Hearthfire, the latest DLC available on Xbox 360. The Dragonborn DLC is coming to Xbox 360 on December 4.
