Skyrim: Hearthfire is available to download now from Xbox Live Marketplace.

The second piece of DLC to be released for the award-winning RPG grants players the opportunity to purchase their own land, build their own homes, and adopt children.

The download weighs in at 75.78mb and costs 400 Microsoft Points (£3.43).

Skyrim: Hearthfire is yet to be announced for PlayStation 3 and PC.

Mind you, PlayStation 3 users are still waiting on Dawnguard, Skyrim's first piece of downloadable content which released on Xbox 360 back in June.

Last week, Bethesda horrified disgruntled PS3 users by suggesting that Skyrim's DLC may not ever make it onto the console, stating that the technical issues holding up the release of Dawnguard are "not a problem [it's] positive [it] can solve".
