Bethesda has released the debut trailer for Dawnguard, the first major expansion pack due to be released for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Heading exclusively to Xbox Live this summer, Dawnguard features a brand new questline that pits a society of winged vampires against a group of vampire hunters.

The trailer suggests that you’ll get to choose to play as a member of either group – but really, who isn’t going to choose to side with the vampires?

The expansion pack will cost 1600 Microsoft Points, with a release on PlayStation 3 and PC expected to follow once Microsoft’s timed-exclusivity period expires.

Bethesda says that more info on Dawnguard will be revealed at E3 next week.
