Speaking during a AMA on Reddit this week, Skybound Games boss Ian Howe revealed that the studio wants to have 100% of Telltale's former staff to complete the last two episodes of The Walking Dead: The Final Season.

Howe said that he is in touch with 'most, if not all' of The Walking Dead development team, although this isn't to say that all of them want or have the opportunity to return to the project.

'The plan is for it to be staffed 100% by former Telltale staff,' said Howe. 'The only time we'd look elsewhere is if we can't fill a particular role from former TT people.'

Skybound Games announced last week that it had taken on the responsibility of finishing The Walking Dead: The Final Season, following news that creator Telltale Games was winding down after firing 90% of its staff.

Prior to Skybound taking over, Telltale said that it wanted another company to hire its ex-staff to complete the narrative-driven zombie drama.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season – Episode 3: Broken Toys and Episode 4: Take Us Back were originally slated for release on November 6 and December 18, respectively. There's no word yet on whether one of them will make it out before the end of the year.
