According to this month’s PC Gamer magazine, Ritual’s SiN 2 will be released over Valve’s digital delivery service, Steam. The game has strong links with Valve as the game is also being developed on their Source engine. PC Gamer also says how SiN 2 will be released in episodes of around six hours in length, with the first due this Winter. Each episode is expected to cost about $20, with further episodes released every 3-4 months.

There is no word if the game will hit retail shelves given its episodic release, which is suited to a digital delivery system. Ritual’s Steve Nix had this to say on the matter: “We talked to publishers about doing it, but we never felt able to make the product we wanted to make with the next SiN.“
