Silent Hill Townfall may have leaked for an early 2026 release again. We previously reported a rumor about Townfall releasing on March 26th, and now this same release date has resurfaced through a listing on the e-shop Liverpool Mexico. The listing is removed, but Silent Hill aficionado Rachel Ashmun managed to snag and share a screenshot on X.

This doesn’t confirm Townfall will come out next March, but it’s interesting that the same release date has appeared twice. Rachel Ashmun also believes it is “too specific to be a placeholder date”.

If it does come out in March, then it’s another big game to add to the pile. After Resident Evil Requiem releases on February 27th, March is stuffed with heavy hitters such as Crimson Desert, 007 First Light, Fatal Frame 2 Crimson Butterfly Remake, Mouse Detective P.I. For Hire, and Saros.

It’s possible some games might be delayed from March, seeing as publishers no longer have to worry about GTA 6 until November. But, from what we are looking at right now, March is going to be an absolute bloodbath.

Silent Hill expected at Xbox Partner Preview

Microsoft’s Xbox Partner Preview is set for November 20, 2025, at 10AM PT/1PM ET/6PM GMT, and Silent Hill is expected to make an appearance. Silent Hill 2 Remake should be part of the event, with a leaked release date of November 21st for Xbox consoles.

Alongside the Xbox release date, there are heavy rumors about the Born From A Wish DLC. The actors for James and Maria have teased that more is “coming soon,” and fans are praying this is alluding to Born From A Wish rather than just releasing on Xbox.

Aside from Silent Hill 2 dropping on Xbox, we now have to keep an eye out for Townfall. If the leak is accurate, it could be announced at the Partner Preview, or Konami could instead announce a Silent Hill Transmission.

Silent Hill Townfall was announced in 2022, but we haven’t seen anything since. It’s developed by Screen Burn, formerly known as No Code, and they are the brains behind experimental horror games such as the compilation tape, Stories Untold, and the very unique sci-fi space epic, Observation.

Rumors have claimed Townfall is a first-person horror similar to Silent Hill Short Message and Hideo Kojima’s P.T. It supposedly revolves around several short stories that focus on ghosts from a town’s past, and for gameplay, there’s “No weapon, no object, only jumpscares and investigation and pursuit footage”.

Beyond Townfall, Bloober Team is officially developing a Silent Hill 1 Remake. Series’ producer, Motoi Okamoto, has also teased that every new instalment will offer a “different flavor” in response to criticisms of Silent Hill f.
