Back at the Leipzig Games Convention Konami announced that Silent Hill Homecoming was heading to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in November, a little later than its previously planned September debut but still in stores fairly swiftly after its North American release.

Sadly Konami has now confirmed that the game will no longer make it to European stores this year, instead finding a new release window in February 2009. No reason for the delay has been given.

Silent Hill Homecoming follows Alex Shepherd to his hometown of Shepherd’s Glen to investigate the mysterious disappearance of his brother. Alex must unravel a tale that takes him from his childhood home to the streets of Silent Hill and will confront the evil that has taken his brother.
