Konami has finally confirmed the release date for its upcoming horror game Silent Hill F. As a brand-new entry in the long-running horror game series, this latest entry takes players to 1960s Japan in a terrifying adventure for longtime fans and newcomers alike.

After a significant waiting period, Konami has confirmed the release date for the upcoming horror title. Releasing prior to this year’s Halloween celebrations, horror game fans will be eating well with this new release.

Silent Hill F release date confirmed

Silent Hill F releases on all platforms on September 25th, 2025. The upcoming horror game is available to pre-order at the time of writing.

The new horror game puts fans in the shoes of Shimizu Hinako in the “secluded town of Ebisugaoka” at its consumed by the series’ traditional thick fog. Focusing on themes of bullying, suicide and more, the game’s latest story is penned by renowned author Ryukishi07, the writer of the Where They Cry series.

“Immerse yourself into Hinako’s world imagined by renowned author Ryukishi07, with entrancing music, including pieces by Akira Yamaoka, and beautiful visuals in a gripping tale of doubt, regret, and inescapable choices,” reads the game’s synopsis. “Will Hinako embrace the beauty hidden within terror, or succumb to the madness that lies ahead?”
