After delaying the game earlier this month, developer Ys Net has posted a short update on the official Shenmue website (via Gematsu) that shows off the game’s new logo, a couple of the game’s characters, and more importantly, teases some Shenmue III news at an upcoming games show.
‘We will be attending Germany’s mid-August gaming event gamescom 2017!’ the update reads. ‘While we are still working out the details with our partners, we plan to show our newest movie clips, share the latest updates and even make some new announcements.’

Shenmue III is scheduled to be released Q3/Q4 of 2018 on PC and PlayStation 4.
