If you’ve played a game in the Gears of War 3 multiplayer beta, you’ll soon be receiving a code to share the experience with a friend, Microsoft has announced.
The ‘Never fight Alone’ phase of the beta kicks off on May 8, where anyone who hasn’t yet taken part yet has a chance to jump in, providing they’ve got a friend willing to spare their one-use code. Tokens will be sent out via email starting on May 8, giving new users a week to take part in the beta.
During the final week you’ll be able to play Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill, and Capture the Leader on Thrashball, Checkout, Trenches, and Old Town. If you’re particularly keen then you could feasibly unlock the Golden Retro Lancer, too.
