Eidos Montreal has revealed that Shadow of the Tomb Raider will include a New Game Plus mode, which isn't really a shocker given most major titles nowadays support the feature.

New Game Plus is unlocked after beating the game, and as per the norm, allows you to start a new game while carrying over various bits and bobs you've earned. These include skills, weapons, outfits, equipment upgrades, and gear.

In addition, players will also be able to follow three additional Paths, namely Serpent, Jaguar, and Eagle, each one unlocking a bunch of exclusive rewards.

The Serpent is geared towards stealth, while Jaguar and Eagle place more emphasis on hunting and traversal, respectively. Each Path also unlocks new content. There's not only themed weapons up for grabs, but also extra abilities to expand Lara Croft's repertoire.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is due for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on September 14. Right now, it's not looking likely the game will come to the Switch.

Eidos Montreal has been drip-feeding us new gameplay videos over the past few weeks, the most recent one taking a look at Lara's stealthy takedowns.
