Shadow of the Tomb Raider developer Eidos Montreal has confirmed it has 'no plans' for a Nintendo Switch version of the treasure-pinching adventure sequel,

Speaking with GameSpot, lead game designer Heath Smith revealed the studio is busy focusing on the PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One versions of the game, though he's still a big fan of Ninty's hardware.

Still, it's worth pointing out that Smith didn't completely rule out a Switch version of the game. Maybe down the line we'll get something? Fingers crossed.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is due out on September 14.  The game is the defining entry in the rebooted series that began in 2013, with Lara battling to avert a Mayan apocalypse while squaring off against Trinity.
