Respawn has rolled out a second update designed to improve Titanfall’s matchmaking and removed the Improved Matchmaking Beta playlist introduced last Friday following successful testing.

“Thanks to everyone who played in our Improved Matchmaking Beta during the last week,” the developer wrote on the game’s site. “As of tonight you’ll notice that option is no longer in the menu. We’ve updated Attrition and Hardpoints modes (non-Campaign) with improved matchmaking, so you’ll be playing it automatically.”

The improvements should ensure that players are correctly matched with similarly-skilled opponents and reduce the amount of games featuring unbalanced teams.

Respawn adds that it will “continue updating matchmaking for the other modes” and asks players to “stay tuned” for updates.
