Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently sporting a ‘Spring 2018’ release date creeping ever closer, and as such developer Rockstar has announced details of a small crossover bonus for fans of its previous game, Grand Theft Auto Online.
As per the post on the Rockstar Newswire, players should expect an email on their iFruit phone in-game for the first clue, which will eventually lead them to a special Double Action Revolver weapon for their use.
Once they’ve obtained the gun, they’ll then be able to take part in a special headshot challenge in freemode, where they’ll be able to try and earn a 250,0000 dollar reward (in GTA’s in game currency, we’re afraid) and the weapon will be unlocked for them in Red Dead Redemption 2 when it releases on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
