Ubisoft has detailed what fans can expect in Year One of content for upcoming extreme sports game Riders Republic.

There’ll be a total of four major seasons of free and paid content in the game’s first year, kicking off with a special pre-season event called The Grand Opening. Expect several multiplayer modes including Mass Race, Tricks Battle, Free for All and Versus. There’ll also be exclusive rewards that will unlock unique cosmetics. Those who fork out for the Year One Pass will also get their first two exclusive Exotic Kits in the Rocket Bike and Rocket Skis.

Season One proper will be named the Winter Bash. As the name implies, expect plenty of snow. There’ll be a time-limited multiplayer experiences, events and special activities all based around this theme. You’ll be able to unlock rewards and contents through the seasonal progression system too. Year 1 Pass owners, of course, get additional exotic kits including an exclusive legendary cosmetic bundle.

Season Two adds a new Showdown Multiplayer Mode. Two teams of six face-off in bespoke arenas, where they must collect and bank more gems than their opponents. Finally, Season Three adds the BMX Sport Add-on. This will include new BMX-dedicated arenas alongside fresh playgrounds and events. There’ll also be a new BMX career track, with new sponsors and events for Year One Pass owners.

You’ll be able to get the Year One pass, which also gets you seven day early access to all other exotic kits and the BMX sports add-on as part of the game’s Gold and Ultimate Editions. Alternatively, it’ll be available separately at launch. Check out the video and roadmap, for Year One of Riders Republic down below.
