Publisher Dear Villagers has announced that twin-stick roguelite Revita will arrive on PC and Switch in April.

The game has been in early access on PC for about a year, but is ready for its full launch where it’ll also come to Nintendo’s console. You’re playing as a child who’s lost his memories, and is climbing an ominous clocktower to retrieve them. Along the way, they’ll blast through a bunch of procedurally generated encounter rooms and challenging bosses as they try and reach the top.

Revita promises “fast-paced glass cannon gameplay” as you trade health for power, so you’ll have to stay on your toes. Luckily, as well as the twin-stick shooting you’ll also be able to acquire various abilities like dashing and wall-sliding. You’ll also be able to tweak the game to suit your playstyle in a range of options. These include slowing down time, highlighting enemies in certain colours to make them easier to see and much more.

Expect a huge variety of weapons, such as laser guns, charge guns, machine guns, shotguns and more. We’re also promised plenty of hats for those who like your cosmetics. Check out the game’s Switch announcement trailer for yourself down below.
