Max Payne 3 will hit stores this December if listings on Amazon and GameStop are to be believed. The sites currently list the game as due for release on December 1, 2011.
According to Rockstar Watch, Amazon has emailed customers to inform them of the new date for Max Payne 3 – a date which has been “changed by the publisher”.
Max Payne hasn’t been given a release window by either Rockstar or parent company Take Two. Any release date should be treated as rumour until officially confirmed by the publisher.
If Max Payne 3 is going to be released this December we expect press campaigns would have to kick off soon. December also seems like an odd month for release, so our money is still on an early 2012 release date.
