PS3 gamers who picked up PSN title PAIN in its retail Blu-ray form have been experiencing a host of problems. These include the inability to play online games, software lock ups and the inability to purchase or use additional content acquired via the PlayStation Store.

According to SCEE product manager Joey Payne a patch to address these issues is on the way very soon.

“This is a server related matter which we are aware of, and we’re developing a patch to fix this as soon as possible,” said Payne. “We’re currently planning to release a product patch within the next 10 working days, and we endeavour to keep the community updated with any changes to these plans.”
