THQ Nordic has announced that Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered, a spruced up version of the terrain-destroying shooter originally released in 2009, will be coming to PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One later this year.
Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered includes a bunch of new features for its modern console debut, such as overhauled visuals (including native 4K support) enhanced lighting and shadow rendering, and rejigged shader & postprocessing, which means the whole thing looks and plays better than ever before.Â
Of course, the series’ staple gameplay mechanics remains untouched, so expect to blast your way through the sprawling Martian landscape, creating new pathways and changing the environment thanks to Guerrilla’s unique strategic destruction gameplay. This also extends to the game’s multiplayer component, where the dynamic physics play a key role in your quest for victory.
Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered is scheduled for release on PS4, PC, and Xbox One in the second quarter of 2018.
