Red Dead Redemption 2 will weigh in at approximately 88.57GB for Xbox One, a listing on the Microsoft Store has confirmed.

Just a few weeks ago it was revealed that PlayStation 4 users would have to free up 105GB to accommodate the sprawling Wild West prequel. The Microsoft Store listing doesn't specify if the number pertains to the download size or install size; there is a difference, as the former is grabbed from the game's servers and are often compressed.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is due for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 26. Those of you buying the game on Sony's console will receive a bunch of early access in-game content.

Be sure to have a butcher's at the latest gameplay video, which shows of how the Dead Eye has evolved for Red Dead 2.
