Square Enix today announced that two brand new titles from TAITO based on classic video game franchises will be released for Nintendo DS across Europe starting this summer.
Scheduled for release later this summer, Puzzle Bobble Galaxy is a match-three puzzle game starring the loveable Bub and Bob dinosaur brothers from the hugely popular Bubble Bobble game. True to the original classic, players will shoot balls from the cannon located at the bottom of the screen, matching colours with bubbles at the top.
Puzzle Bobble Galaxy will also feature wireless battles, with 2-4 players able to compete locally or via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
Arriving in the autumn will be Space Invaders Extreme 2, the follow-up to the acclaimed remake of an all-time classic. The Invaders are back again and this time the action promises to be even more extreme! We’re told to expect futuristic graphic design, cutting-edge audio, overhauled gameplay and a whole new range of power-ups. The game will also offer multiplayer with a friend using DS Wireless Play and DS Download Play or via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
