PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds creator Brendan Greene revealed at Paris Games Week that PUBG will be arriving on the Xbox One on December 12. This is through Xbox Game Preview, the console’s version of early access.
The full PC launch for the terrifyingly popular battle royale-style game is still on track for the end of the year (i.e. late December) which means you could be tucking into chicken dinner by Christmas day.
Originally, PUBG was just coming out as a ‘console launch exclusive’ on the Xbox, but back in August it was revealed that Microsoft would be publishing the game, too.
To celebrate the partnership, the Xbox version is getting three limited edition cosmetic packs: the PUBG Warrior Pack, the PUBG Accessory Pack, and the PUBG Tracksuit Pack. These are exclusive to the Xbox as standalone offers, available for a limited time only. Check out the gallery below to see the cosmetics as they’ll appear in-game.
