The Korean Games Rating Board has come up trumps again this morning, seemingly confirming that PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is coming to PlayStation 4.

The chicken dinner-loving shooter has been rumoured for Sony's flagship console for a while now, although this is the closest we've seen to a confirmation that PUBG is indeed on its way to PS4.

PUBG has been an Xbox One console exclusive for almost a year, so the timing would certainly fit. Speaking of which, the full version of the game has only just launched for Microsoft's console.

Aside from Xbox One, PUBG is currently available on PC and mobile platforms, although the PC version gets first bite of any major content update. In fact, PUBG Corp is currently busy knuckling down on various bug fixes and quality-of-life updates as part of its 'fix PUBG' initiative.

The mobile version of the shooter has been doing pretty well too, notching up over 100 million downloads.

PUBG has remained a massively popular battle royale game for most of the year, although it seems that things are starting to die down a bit. Its biggest competitor is obviously Fortnite, which every man and his dog is currently playing.
