November is always exciting because it’s the month of massive discounts. Each respective platform and company have their own specific deals, and Sony has just recently confirmed the date for their PSN Store Black Friday Sale 2024 offerings. There will be price cuts for a lot of video games, but Black Friday is always the best time for PlayStation players to resubscribe to PS Plus.
There is a lot going on in the world of PlayStation. Sony recently released the PS5 Pro, and it includes a lot of enhanced games such as Black Ops 6. Silent Hill 2 remake is included, too, but it has issues with the devs officially working on a fix. In addition to the recent release of the PS5 Pro, some massive news is that Sony could secure ownership of Elden Ring developer, FromSoftware, in a matter of “weeks”.
While all of the above is good for PlayStation loyalists, some extra great news is that the start date for the PSN store Black Friday Sale 2024 is less than a week away. If you are yet to subscribe to PS Plus, it will be your most cost-effective time thanks to Sony’s confirmed discounts.
PSN store Black Friday Sale 2024 date
The start date for the PSN store Black Friday Sale 2024 is November 22nd. This has been confirmed by Sony over on the PlayStation Blog. While the discounts start next Tuesday, they will quickly expire on December 2nd.
Some of the highlighted games that will receive discounts are EA Sports FC 25, Hogwarts Legacy, and Star Wars Outlaws. However, this is just three titles, and there will be many, many more games included with bargain prices.
In addition to sales for games on the PSN store, Sony’s Black Friday 2024 offerings extend to hardware from PlayStation Direct. This includes up to 40% discounts for products including PSVR2, DualSense controllers, Pulse Elite Wireless Headsets, PS5 console covers, and more.
PS Plus Black Friday 2024 discounts
Sony has announced that the PS Plus Black Friday 2024 discounts include saving 30% on a 12-month membership for either Essential, Extra, or Premium. This is for players who are not yet subscribed to any tier.
If you are currently subscribed to PS Plus Essential, you can save 25% on the remainder of your membership when upgrading your current plan to Extra. Meanwhile, current Extra subscribers can save 30% when upgrading from PS Plus Extra to Premium/Deluxe.
Again, Black Friday is always the best and most cost-effective time to subscribe to PS Plus, so make sure to do so before the discounts end on December 2nd.
