Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players are being urged to tweak the game’s tactical sprint setting to fix a massive delay in Aim Down Sight speed. If you’re suffering from unresponsive ADS on your suite of guns, this simple setting should fix everything in the new CoD game.

Fix slow ADS in Black Ops 6

In order to remedy to slow ADS speed in Black Ops 6, you’re recommended to head into the game’s options menu, select Tactical Sprint and change the setting from ‘Tactical Sprint Assist’ to ‘On’. This has already been flagged by some players on X, and we’ve also captured and changed the setting in our game, below.

Tactical sprint is a faster version of sprinting, allowing you to cover ground quickly but with your weapon will be pulled up resulting in a slight delay should you run into enemy fire. Tactical Sprint is a useful feature for covering large distances, but it can result in a massive disadvantage for close-up skirmishes.

With this in mind, turning the option off is a much safer bet for all players. After all, you can still use tactical sprint in the game by double-tapping the sprint button when the option is disabled.

Black Ops 6 has launched to generally favourable reviews, however the ‘always online‘ nature of this year’s game is already creating issues for those playing the campaign. Some are experiencing server issues mid mission in a mode usually immune from online interference.
