Rockstar Games has confirmed that Xbox One owners of Red Dead Redemption 2 can now access content previously exclusive to the PlayStation 4 version of the rootin', tootin' cowboy epic.

You'd be forgiven for missing it, though, as Rockstar only confirmed the news in a brief note while commenting on the release of yesterday's Gun Rush mode. Still, if you fancy getting your hands on stuff like the rather lovely Red Chestnut Arabian Horse, then you're in luck.

'Xbox One players can also now access the Red Chestnut Arabian Horse, Alligator Skin Ranch Cutter Saddle and the High Roller Double-Action Revolver in the Red Dead Online Beta,' said Rockstar.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is out now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and if you haven't played it yet, then read Colm's review to find out why you really, really should.

The game has become a huge success, selling three times as many copies as Red Dead Redemption during its launch month and shipping 17 million copies worldwide. It also pulled in an eye-watering $750 million during its first weekend on sale.
