Sony has announced its latest list of PS Plus Premium and Extra free games for April 2023 that will be available to those that are members of the subscription service’s higher tiers. As usual, plenty of contemporary and classic titles are being added to the catalog, the most notable of which is the Bethessda-developed Doom Eternal entry.

With the UK CMA now starting to side with Xbox in its controversial Activision acquisition, this game’s inclusion in PlayStation’s service may come as a surprise to some since Microsoft had previously bought Bethesda in 2021. However, it’s important to note that Doom Eternal was released in 2020, a year before the developers were bought by the tech giants.

Nevertheless, you may still be wondering what the other free games on offer are for the month of April. Not to worry, PS Plus fans because we’ve covered all that you’ll need to know below.

Aside from several Doom installments, some of the more notable ones included with this latest list is the story-driver action-adventure game, Kena: The Bridge of Spirits. Slay the Spire, the underrated fantasy deckbuilding adventure is also part of this month’s inclusion, which should please SRPG enthusiasts.

If these don’t cater to your video game genre tastes, then you can check out the rest of the entries on offer below:

  • Kena: The Bridge of Spirits
  • Doom Eternal
  • Riders Republic
  • Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus
  • Slay the Spire
  • Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom
  • The Evil Within
  • Wolfenstein: The Old Blood
  • Bassmaster Fishing
  • Paradise Killer
  • Sackboy: A Big Adventure

As mentioned before, several memorable creations are also making their way to the subscription service’s classic catalog, which include the following:

  • Doom
  • Doom 2
  • Doom 64
  • Doom 3
  • Dishonored: Definitive Edition

There are plenty of diverse entries on offer this month, but FPS enthusiasts are in for a treat due to the large number of Doom games being offered. Keep in mind, though, that these games will only become available on April 18, so you’ll have to wait until then to get stuck in with these offerings.
