October has been a good month for PlayStation subscribers. The Essential offerings were great with EA’s Dead Space remake the big prize, meanwhile, Extra and Premium subscribers have just been treated to more excellent additions appropriate for Halloween such as Dead Island 2. Now the reveal date for the PS Plus November 2024 free games is near, and there is a possible leak, and we also know of 21 games leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium next month.

Before next month arrives, PlayStation fans still have the imminent release date of Black Ops 6 to anticipate, and soon after there is the release date for Dragon Age The Veilguard. Then next month welcomes the console release of Stardew Valley 1.6, and there are other releases to anticipate such as LEGO Horizon Adventures.

All of the above upcoming releases are exciting, but naturally PlayStation subscribers are anticipating the PS Plus November 2024 freebies. The reveal date is close, and we are hopeful Sony will be offering some great games for the Essential lineup.

PS Plus November 2024 free games reveal date

The PS Plus November 2024 Essential games should be revealed on October 30th. The next batch of Essential offerings is always revealed one Wednesday before the next crop of announced giveaways come out. Sony’s PlayStation Blog post confirms that the next Essential selection will be released on November 5th.

As for Extra and Premium, they should be announced on November 13th. Sony typically announces the Extra and Premium additions on Wednesday one week after the release of the Essentials.

Before November 4th arrives, make sure to claim the current Essential giveaways: WWE 2K24, Doki Doki Literature Club, and the Dead Space remake. Even if you don’t plan on playing them right now, make sure to add them to your library so you can play them for free some other time in the future.

In regard to the 21 games included, there are some massive departures next month. Red Dead Redemption 2 is arguably the greatest video game of all time, meanwhile, the Kingdom Hearts series is hugely popular. It’s a shame the entire Kingdom Hearts franchise is leaving, so make sure to play all of them if you haven’t already.

Possible leak

A possible leak for PS Plus November 2024 is PS2 emulations of God of War 1 and 2. Per GamingLeaksAndRumors, “The PlayStation Plus tab on PS5 was recently updated to add easier navigation… separating the classic emulated games into different pages by system and adding icon art for each one. The PS2 section has a Greek-era Kratos icon yet there’s no God of War games featured in the category”.

Seeing as neither God of War 1 or 2 are included in the PS2 classics collection for PS Plus Premium, the above suggests that either could be added next month. Either that or they could join the subscription service at another point in the future as it took a long time for Dino Crisis to be added following leaks.

God of War 1 and 2 are part of PS Plus, but it’s the HD Remasters that were released on PS3. Although unconfirmed, the above is implying we could get emulators of the original PS2 versions.

In other PlayStation news, next month also sees the release of the PS5 Pro. Arrowhead has confirmed that there is a PS5 Pro upgrade for Helldivers 2, and The Finals is getting a PS5 Pro enhancement, too.
