Konami of Europe have announced that Pro Evolution Soccer 5 will be released for the PSP this autumn, and will be almost identical to the home console and PC versions in terms of available teams.
The PSP version will include some exclusive features that showcase the PSP’s capabilities, including a running tally of stats for games you have played against people using the handheld’s WiFi connection.
The game will also be able to link up with the PlayStation 2 version of the game so teams created on the console can be transferred to the handheld. Players will also be able to exchange teams between their PSPs.
Some of the control compromises that have had to be made to the PSP version have been discussed in our earlier news about the Japanese version of the game.
For now, take a look out the first screenshots to be released for the PSP version of the game.
