Without giving too much away about the end of Prey, upon completion of the single-player campaign the player is informed that there’s more to come in the Prey story. Obviously a sequel was always going to depend on the success of the first title, but it’s now been all but officially announced.
Writing in a blog post, Miller says, “Prey is a success. We know that within the first two months it passed one million units sold worldwide. And for a game on two platforms that’s pretty darn good. There will be a sequel, and we think we have a interesting follow-up story to tell and some all-new innovations to bring new excitement to the table.“
That’s certainly good news to those of us who were left hanging at the end of the first game. For now there’s no more info, but we’ll be sure to post an update when new information emerges.
