Pre-order Call of Duty: Ghosts to unlock Black Ops 2 Ghosts gun camo

Details on Call of Duty: Ghosts’ pre-order promotion have appeared online ahead of the game’s formal reveal this evening.

Pre-order the title from GAME and you’ll be eligible to receive a special Ghosts Gun Camo for use in the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

“The franchise that has defined a generation of gaming is set to raise the bar once again with the all-new Call of Duty: Ghosts,” reads the product description on GAME’s website.

“Published by Activision and developed by Infinity Ward, the studio that created the original Call of Duty and the critically-acclaimed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series, Call of Duty: Ghosts ushers in the next generation of the franchise, delivering a riveting all-new gameplay experience built on an entirely new story, setting and cast, all powered by a new next-generation Call of Duty engine.”

The unlockable camo was first discovered in Black Ops 2’s patch files earlier today.

In order to receive the bonus item, pre-order customers must redeem a code issued to them on Activision’s redemption portal by July 1, 2013.

According to GAME, Call of Duty: Ghosts will release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on November 5, 2013.

Beyond revealing the game’s title, Activision has yet to announce official details on Call of Duty: Ghosts.
