Capcom has revealed during its latest showcase that Pragmata is being delayed once again, although the new release window is still unspecified at this point in time. According to their announcement during the event, the development team has stated that they are “currently hard at work making the best game” that they possibly can, but that they “need more time.”

Unfortunately, it’s currently unclear when they plan on providing more details, but it’s safe to say that it won’t be released at any point in time this year so we may be looking at a 2024 launch instead. Luckily, the trailer Capcom provided also gave us a glimpse of what we can expect upon release to hold us over in the meantime.

The beginning of the preview shows Diana sitting on the floor, seemingly unbothered by the bullets flying all around her. We then hear a currently unnamed soldier asking the gifted child for help as they attempt to protect her from being injured by a couple of hostile droids. However, Diana remains oblivious to all that’s happening around her as she continues to draw upon a piece of paper that she somehow has.

As soon as the nameless soldier took care of the threatening automatons, they immediately went over to pick up Diana in order to get her out of harm’s way. Afterwards, we’re given a few glimpses of the game’s combat, which will mostly be featuring the protagonist facing off against a number of deadly mechs. Of course, Diana will also be there to support you during your journey with her own set of unique abilities.

Alas, the preview fades to black soon after so we aren’t left with much more to go on. Nevertheless, we still recommend checking it out for yourself since there are plenty of tidbits you should be able to discover throughout the clip.
